With nearly 25 years of experience, Richard Slawsky is a seasoned business writer specialising in industries ranging from digital signage industry, hospitality, and oil and gas to advertising. A journalism career that began at the Times-Picayune in New Orleans and New Orleans CityBusiness was interrupted by Hurricane Katrina, after which Slawsky relocated to Louisville, Ky. in 2005.
Richard Slawsky has worked extensively with Networld Media Group, contributing to publications such as Digital Signage Today, Kiosk Marketplace, and ATM Marketplace. Richard Slawsky has written for top-tier technology clients, including IBM, NEC, LG Electronics, HP, and Samsung.
In addition to writing, Slawsky serves as an adjunct professor of communication at the University of Louisville and other local colleges, including teaching classes at several Kentucky prisons. Richard Slawsky holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Louisville and is a member of Mensa and the National Communication Association.
